FAQ
What is the minimum criteria to be a Havenwith host?
At a bare minimum, all of our vacation properties must be:
1. Free of synthetic fragrance. No candles, plug-ins, sprays, etc. Fragrance-free is best, but essential oils are allowed and must be noted on your listing. If you are using essential oils be sure there are pure, organic, and from a trusted source. Many essential oils are cut with other ingredients.
2. Cleaning supplies and laundry detergents should be EWG® verified and/or MADE SAFE® certified. Local or refill shops are also ok with prior approval. As a best practice, choose the fragrance-free option. "Unscented" does not mean the product is free of fragrance.
Do I need to provide hand soap, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner?
No. If you are providing these items, we prefer that they are non-toxic and fragrance-free, but it is not required.
I only rent my home when I travel, am I eligible?
Yes, absolutely! You are free to rent your home 1 to 365 nights a year.
I don't rent my home all the time, am I eligible?
Yes, absolutely! There are no requirements or restrictions of how often your home is available.
What is the cost?
We have two options for host.
One, you fully integrate your home (via Hospitable), gain access to all of the host tools and only pay a small commission for each booking made of Havenwith (our % is less than all major OTAs, keep more of your booking).
Two, is a subscription model, if you prefer to list your home and only take bookings on your current platform there is a monthly fee.
What tools do I get as a Havenwith host?
Havenwith gives you access to an easy-to-use booking management system, with automated messaging, dynamic + discounted pricing, promo codes, calendar sync, smart lock integration, and human customer support. This is optional and only included if you fully integrate your property to accept bookings on Havenwith.
What does "Havenwith Exclusive" mean?
Properties that are only available to book here on Havenwith are eligible for the Havenwith Exclusive badge.
