Why host on Havenwith?
You've invested time, money, and care into creating a healthier place to stay. Havenwith helps ensure those efforts do not go unnoticed by connecting your property with guests who are specifically looking for the features you've thoughtfully put in place.
What is the minimum criteria to be a Havenwith host?
At a bare minimum, all of our vacation properties must be:
1. Free of synthetic fragrance. No candles, plug-ins, sprays, etc. Fragrance-free is best, but essential oils are allowed and must be noted on your listing. If you are using essential oils be sure they are pure, organic, and from a trusted source. Many essential oils are cut with other ingredients.
2. Cleaning supplies and laundry detergents should be EWG® verified and/or MADE SAFE® certified. Local or refill shops are also great, with prior approval. As a best practice, choose the fragrance-free option. "Unscented" does not mean the product is free of fragrance.
Do I need to provide hand soap, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner?
No. If you are providing these items, our preference is that these products are also non-toxic and fragrance-free, but it is not required. You have the opportunity to share this information with the guest on your dedicated page.
I only rent my home when I travel, am I eligible?
Yes, absolutely! You are free to rent your home 1 to 365 nights a year.
I don't rent my home all the time, am I eligible?
Yes, absolutely! There are no requirements or restrictions of how often your home is available.
What is the cost?
We have two options for hosts.
1. Fully integrate your home (via our property management system), gain access to host tools like dynamic pricing and pay a small commission for each booking made on Havenwith (our % is less than major OTAs, you keep more of your booking). If your home doesn't book on Havenwith, you pay nothing.
2. Subscription, if you prefer to list your home and continue to take bookings on your current platform there is a set monthly fee to be featured on Havenwith.
What tools do I get as a Havenwith host?
Havenwith gives you access to an easy-to-use booking management system, with automated messaging, dynamic + discounted pricing, promo codes, calendar sync, smart lock integration, and human customer support. This is optional and only included if you fully integrate your property to accept bookings on Havenwith.
What does "Havenwith Exclusive" mean?
Properties that are only available to book on Havenwith are eligible for the Havenwith Exclusive badge.
