No synthetic fragrance

A key requirement for our homes is that they do not use synthetic fragrance in their cleaning supplies and laundry detergents. No fake smells here. Many of our homes are also free of essential oils. It's your home, you choose what is best for you.

We prefer cleaning products that are EWG Verified® and/or Made Safe Certified®. We understand that earning such certifications might be cost-prohibitive for smaller brands. On a case-by-case basis, we will analyze the ingredient lists for smaller brands before allowing their use. Products with an "A" rating from EWG are also allowed.

Trying to sleep, but all you can smell is fake fragrance? Not in our homes. All linens need to be washed in laundry detergents that are EWG Verified® and/or Made Safe Certified®. We understand that earning such certifications might be cost-prohibitive for smaller brands. On a case-by-case basis, we will analyze the ingredient lists for smaller brands before allowing their use. Products with an "A" rating from EWG are also allowed.
